Here’s an explanation on where to find the caging bolts and what they do.

Have they gotten enough to participate? Has it had the affect we were promised?

Too hard to tell without an Aus fag on the ground. But this information could always be helpful should they decide to strike. Or just in general.

this video was circulating the day before it was meant to happen. then some blokes made it happen too early and the actual showup was abysmal from what i hear. we're fucked

Wouldn't it make sense to detach the truck from the trailer so you can take the truck and go cause more mayhem somewhere else?

The whole point of this video is to teach you how to abandon a trailer while making it as hard as possible to get it towed.

If you can't cage the brake, the wheels don't turn. If the wheels don't turn, you can't tow the trailer.

Depends. I assume they can just roll up with a rig and move a trailer. But if the rig is immobile, maybe do both. Drop the trailer, move the tractor next to it and immobilize. Two for one.

It can't be that hard to make it at least 20 minutes of work with tools to get your truck or trailer out of the way. X that by 5000 and they have themselves some trouble. Make it as time consuming and and as expensive as possible.

Yas. After they unhook they'd be smart to disable the hitching mechanism on the trailer in some way.

The king pin? They have king pin locks for that but those are easily cut off. I guess they could cut the king pin off all together. The tow truck that inevitably shows up can still grab it but at least the driver was smart enough to commit a crime before abandoning the trailer.

TIL "kingpin" is a trucking term. Sweet.

It just worked for me. It’s on Vid8 so I don’t think AOU censored it.
