If you want to understand Christianity, you need to read E Michael Jones book on logos. I’m not religious so I don’t come away with quite the lesson he intends. But Christianity was razor close to not having anything to do with the jews at all. Everything good and intellectual about the enlightenment was owed to Greek philosophers quest to understand the absolute origin of all things. It was totally co opted by the jews.
What he fails to understand is that the hebrews are not jews [also mentioned in video]. They share so with the Greeks because they are of the same origin, the same peoples; the scythians/aryans.
If that commenter knew this, his opinion would shift even further.
I would say the Pharisaic cult is proto-Gnostic, and the paradigm/ worldview set by Kabbalah is inherently Gnostic. The teachings/ Magic Arts of Kabbalah were adopted from Canaanites, Babylonians and Zoroastrians, possibly Egyptians too.
Gnostic = A sect or cult that sees forbidden or occulted knowledge as the means of salvation or apotheosis And the Pharisees pushed the idea that they had secret knowledge/ teachings passed down from Moses, that only they knew of, therefore they ought to be the sole religious authorities. That "Gnosis" was all orally transmitted between them and to initiated 'rabbis' before the Talmud was written down in Babylon.
