Even with these they still use absurdly-expensive insulin.
Is there an option for diy insulin?
Apparently it's being worked on, and there's no technical reason for it to be so bankruptingly-expensive.
I have type 1. Dated a medical scientist. It costs pennies to produce and sells for sometimes 5000x that. Walmart actually sells Novolin N and R over the counter for $24.88/vial. Beats the hell out of $200-$300/vial anddd you don't have to go to doc for a script.
