Yeah I learned this a long time ago too. Average people don't care about rational arguments. They do care about fitting in, so shaming them and calling them retards for being ignorant of reality is effective. And you're right, the media uses the exact same tactic and it works and that's why most people are brainwashed. Because the media told them if they don't parrot this lie or that lie that they're stupid, and they don't want to seem stupid to their friends so they go along with it. The same tactic can be used just as well by us to make them look at the truth.
