I knew this would work because I am always running on fumes. I know when my gas gauge gets to E there is 1/8th of an inch the dial will still go past that when I can make it to a gas station.... sometimes even when it gets to that point I am amazed I still can putter up to the pump... I've only actually had to walk and get gas one time years ago. My 1994 Ford Taurus station wagon has 45k miles on it and is beautiful to me. White with green plush interior, and updated sound system. Air conditioning works great. The ladies love it. I've driven it across country and she has never failed me.
