Bullshit, Merit is talent, merit is working hard and sacrificing your free time to improve yourself or your skill in your chosen field. They say the poor are there because they were not given advantages, bullshit. The poor in old times a 100 years ago were and today they are poor for not taking chances by moving out of cities out of fear of failure and become stuck in a high cost low return area to live. My grandfather made our family not middle class but decent working class.
The man dug his own cellar and build his own home a two story one single handedly. He did it not while going to college by while working a full time job. The man worked his ass off and my grandmother later did also. He never walked away out of fear or anything especially a challenge. He bought tools and learned preinternet how to do stuff like plumbing, fixing his own tv, made his own furniture and grew his own garden. He did this on a small piece of land with his own determination.
These college faggots couldn't do what my grandfather did, they got great jobs talking for a living and would likely say they earned their positions aka merit fucking hypocrites is what they are. They do no real work since talking and writing are hobbies in my book like what I'm doing in this comment off the top of my head without college I'd like to add. As for college as soon as they give it away for free so the non gifted learners that have math troubles and tend to drink and shit since like myself they have addictive personalities a genetic thing from a line of ancestors that bred likely with others that had adiction problems with drugs, alcohol, gambling, or were just to lazy to study or do anything but fun shit. Thinking is a genetic gift passed on from the past to the present from people that married like minded as in dumb do not marry intelligent since intelligent people tend to not like stupid people that tend to be violent or make stupid decisions that put them in the poorhouse eventually, healthy people do not tend to marry sickly people.
We all know the families that are all fat as fuck or dumb as a stump, not one but all of them tend to be born stupid, fat, lazy, or ugly and it's across the board that way. You can't use college to fix genetics. Now the problem they are stating is that some families tend to rise to the top, families of greedy or nacissist tend to excel in stuff since they want power and riches. Also the college grads may be smart but if their personality is shit or if they are of the wrong race or religion they tend to not get the top ceo positions. You're not going to get the top dog job dressed in traditional African garb constantly talking about how men or the white man is evil. You dress for the job you want not the fad your following so 3 piece suit and mouth shut ears open only business.
The real clincher is who you know or who your family knows. Also talent won't get you a huge Wallstreet corp job unless your talent is avoiding taxes as a lawyer. Hell the days of a talented person running a business that is what your talent is connected to is long gone. Look at apple with the CEO that has no vision like Jobs had but instead locks down the hardware so only the apple app store can install apps on their apple system unless your talented enough to jailbreak your system.
Hell Merit would be Trumps tax plans with the insite of Lou Dobbs lowering taxes and government demands to let business thrive, no merit would be Obama doing his speeches that sound so good but are total bullshit feeling garbage that don't do shit for the common american worker. Talent is Ben Carson fixing HUD after he did a full audit on the department and that is from a great lifestyle and keeping himself on strict moral compass at all times, what those fuckers would say is intolerable for the common person but it seems to have done nothing but good for Ben in my eyes. Just a bunch of elitist dumbasses in my eyes with no real common sense. On another note the guy on the top right looked like an outright psycho when I first saw him and was scowling till he recieved a little praise. Totally self centered and likely a big nacissist with the reaction of the praise that who knows if any is even deserved.
Now the problems they were discussing one is bad as in hiring people like you and you know the progressives will never hire a conservative so you're just changing the crew with a different perspective on what makes a quality hire and we've all seen the left ignoring fucked up people on their side and the fucker even said they were doubling down on their idea since it never gained traction. Maybe it's because it has no merit and doubling down on failure is the definition of stupidity. Heck the merit based system is just immitating the human pecking order where the people that are the best tend to hold strong positions in the ruling class like heroic fighters in the middle ages and super geeks in the 70's and 80's that invented computer languages and all tech we see today.
Hell they earned that by being outcast, by being shunned by their own age groups and isolating with whatever tech they had and learning and then creating better tech to play with. You never see that football star with the six pack that could get laid without effort sitting at home building a new type of PC, he's getting fucked so screw tech till it makes getting fucked easier or till he meets that girl that wants to only date the guy that plays that game or whatever she likes he does, if she's hot enough.
