In an apocalyptic scenario I'd prefer electric over gasoline. I have solar panels in my house and have the capacity to keep an electric vehicle running long after the gasoline vehicle would be out of fuel and become a paperweight.

OK what about when you don’t have enough energy from the solar panels how long will it take you to in the dark what do you do then seems like if you don’t have a place to charge your electric car it will die and you’re stuck then he got a big problem and it’s dark At night and in the winteryou have no way to go so what are you going to use with gasoline you can always get more and save it
