The US Army cancelled the Boeing–Sikorsky RAH-66 Comanche back in 2004. We could have beaten the helicopter game nearly 20 years ago if they hadn't scrapped the project. Now we have lost once again to Russia. How many secrets of the Comanche project were sent overseas to China and Russia for (((black budget shekels))) by (((MIC defense contractor spies)))? Everything is for sale when you wear a funny little hat on your head and your dick doesn't.

RAH-66 Comanche

I live not that far from where they make the apache. I see brand new ones flying over head some times. I always wonder what happened the the Comanche.

I got to see one of those in person once. So freaking cool. Shame they cancelled it on the basis of sunk cost instead of that bloated V-22 Failspray program.

I'd be a tad more impressed if the Russians,: 1) They could consistently build engines that didn't need a major overhaul every 300 hours, and, 2) If they could keep more than two of them running without cannibalizing the rest of the flight-line to do it.
