What do you have to say about hydroxychloroquine?
I've got nothing to say about it, I'm not a doctor. Personally I'm OK with a vaccine for this, just like I was OK with the vaccines for typhoid, cholera and yellow fever that I had before going to Africa.
I'm just making the point that whenever Trump says something on this topic, everyone here starts acting like that's the best thing ever and he's personally discovered a cure, and then they go berserk if someone they identify as a Leftist suggests maybe just get the vaccine? And simply because Trump fucked around at the start of all this saying nothing, they've all interpreted that as 'don't take it', despite him finally recommending it back in March.
Take it, don't take it, I don't care what people do, but they should at least have a rational reason for their decision. Some dumb fucks literally drank bleach after him mentioning it, it's ridiculous.
Well yeah some people are retarded. But there is all kinds of data about there about things that will protect you from basically any coronavirus and theres not a single source suggesting we even fucking have immune systems without a vaccine at this point. Its all just vaccine vaccine vaccine. If this were a threat that warranted anything like the reaction we have had then immune health would be a priority. But no. We just pretend we have no clue how to suppliment the human immune system with nutrients and encourage masks that dont work and vaccines that dont seem to be doing much either.

IMO any response to this situation has to be, 'what's the best we can do here' I've watched how they reckon the virus replicates and it's fairly sophisticated, now something as simple as making the body more acidic or whatever 'might' do something, but frankly something that directly acts to subvert the viruses replication is a more intelligent approach IMO, and that's what they appear to have come up with. I'm OK to go along with that.
Masks are a distraction - they reduce sneeze transmission, maybe have some affect on breathing transmission, but just staying away from people seems more effective. I've stopped wearing them, I just avoid people and expect them to avoid me.
Viruses exist to bypass our immune system, you can take all nutrients you want, viruses will outsmart it again and again, it's simple evolution.
It was always expected that vaccines were going to be a work in progress, if we were that smart we'd have found one that works against the common cold virus or the flu by now. But we aren't that smart and covid is going to continue to develop new variants, the same as hepatitis or any other virus.
Not taking advantage of the best option we have come up with in two years, isn't very smart. But people want to be political and tribalist about all this, and some of them are going to die and collect their Darwin award. It is what it is. If Trump wasn't in Office to fuck all this up for everyone, then maybe we'd be in a better position. Biden isn't going to make any progress either because now half the country hates him for sucking BLM dick
Loooooool. "The best option"... the best option was zinc, vitamin D, and sunlight. Still is. The best option was not counting every death under the sun as a covid death. The best option was having tests that are actually accurate. We dont and have never needed a vaccine for this. Something tells me the vaccine deniers arent the ones that are going to earn the darwin award when its all said and done.
