No, I definitely agree with you. I've seen enough posts from Aussies refuting that point. The unfortunate part is that you have firearms because the government has found it in their hearts to allow it. They could decide tomorrow to disallow it (admittedly I don't know anything about how your political system functions, but thats how Americans view it) because of another "mass shooting." In America that's not quite the case, even if the Democrats (communists) fervently wish otherwise.
