Starving people will do almost anything for food. So you probably won't have to wait long.
That said I suspect a parallel non-jew economy will pop up before that really happens.
I honestly think this is why they've allowed Bitcoin to continue being a thing. Allow the smart ones to keep on keepin' on, in the face of total societal expulsion; because the smart ones would be the ones leading the mobs straight to the culprit's gated communities and showing them how to use guillotines.
There are limited methods to attack Bitcoin, it's a small attack surface which mostly consists of disrupting Internet infrastructure, which would also tank their ability to make money and keep their schemes going. The rest of the attack surface is in disrupting the ability to transfer into USD and they've been doing that at every turn since 2009 more or less with middling success.
The latest infrastructure bill includes a big attack on the latter part of the attack surface but ultimately it doesn't matter in the face of decentralized finance. It's not that they "let" it happen so much as they are doing what they can already and it's simply not enough. Very similar to BitTorrent.
