They need to justify their jobs.
If more people defended themselves/took justice into their own hands, it would quickly become clear how little we actually need cops.
And yes, what happened here was justice. The victims saw the shooter, knew who it was, and they killed him after he opened fire.

He was judged, found guilty, and sentenced by a true jury of his peers.
We don't need 3 years of court to determine "that guy shot someone without reason and should be dealt with".
I like to do this whenever a story about a thug gets killed pops up: look at their rap sheet. You will inevitably find some very serious felony charges, such as FIRST DEGREE MURDER, and most of the charges are always dropped. I also total up their prison time that they were sentenced to- and typically they only serve about 10% of that time. Then they're out in the streets, they repeat some illegal act that they got away with before, and get blown away this time.
The number of dropped charges on obviously dangerous, vicious criminals is fucking outrageous. Judges and parole boards should be held accountable for the actions of the savages they release back onto the streets- but judges are untouchable. They aren't responsible for the actions of the feral beasts they unleash upon us. If judges had to worry about being punished for releasing a guy who is obviously ready to go murder his wife or something like that, you'd see a lot less murderers walking the streets.

Sure, but how many stories have you read/heard of/witnessed of White people stoning a person to death?
If that was a White household they would've had legally purchased guns with which to chase down the shooter, instead of just picking up the nearest heavy object and repeatedly throwing it at the shooter.
I'm not disagreeing, but I'm curious why no illegal guns were pulled in self defense.
