Apache mounts the 30mm Hughes M230 chain gun https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/ah_64_apache_3_riat_07_by_falken1-390x293.jpg https://www.indomiliter.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/JEiZD.jpg If they'd shot him with this it would have emulsified his ass. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1km5a Don't know exactly what the aircraft type is the Mexicans are using in the clip, but they do have a number of UH-1 and UH-60 helicopters either of which can and has been used to support a M134 minigun. But whatever it is, that is NOT an Apache.

So the Apache has more of a rocket launcher?

The AH-64 Apache has a wide variety of possible weapons load-outs depending on its mission. The M230 30mm chain-gun is the only weapon system that is installed in the airframe. Everything else goes on the pylons. Guided missiles (usually the AGM 114 Hellfire, up to 16 of those), 2.75"/70mm FFAR's (up to 76 of those) gunpods, external fuel tanks, etc. It's a very flexible system. https://www.flying-tigers.co.uk/2018/boeing-ah-64-apache-new-corgi-aviation-72-and-jc-wings-arrivals-and-hobbymaster-updates/

In the video it looked like he was shooting rockets, but maybe that was just the sand going everywhere.
