Yup, they (home hospice provider) were trying to push morphine on my mom and reduce her caloric intake. She had a degenerative disease but she was not in significant pain and she did not want to “die faster”. They misled us about her caloric and water requirements. We trusted the nurses and doctor. But after some investigating we had a nutritionist come in and confirm what I suspected— they had her on starvation/dehydration level intake. We corrected that. They were pushing morphine but my mom didn’t want it. They got nasty with us and tried to work my elderly dad over about it. This social worker kept coming to the house and saying that it was inappropriate to keep feeding my mother. We finally told her to fuck off and dont come back. They really wanted my mom on that morphine. Honestly I was initially surprised and it took me a couple of months to figure out what the game is. They want these people to die ASAP. They have some sort of 6 month deadline after which they don’t get their kickback. They are killing seniors just like babies. Some of these “carers” are absolute ghouls. Don’t trust them with your parents. Hospice is basically a death sentence. They will kill old people and no one will do a damn thing. This used to be a crime. So called angel of mercy killers used to go to jail. But now kikes run everything so....
