"tough guys" are ignorant. I've been in tons of fights and every single of one of them I've regretted because even when I won, I caught a few punches or someone's buddy jumped in. There's no such thing as a clean fight; even when you win, some parts of you are going to be physically fucked up for at least a few days. Do the calculus; it's not worth it. Call the pigs and have them do your dirty work for you.

People don't understand.

A scrawny guy in the grocery store parking lot came up to me and asked me was I gonna put my grocery cart back.

I lectured him firmly, dude you have no idea who you're talking to and that's a good way to get killed, confronting complete strangers.

Had he been some tough looking guy I would have hesitated.

You do not know how strong someone is, there can be amazing strength in an otherwise normal looking person, not even pumped.

I know a farm kid in Canada who you cannot even begin to wrestle with, he's strong as an ox. Had a friend in high school, when you fought him it was just a blaze of fists, he was so fast.

You just cost someone their job. With the cashiers being automated the least you could do is leave it out. Now if it's a small mom and pop store Ill put it back. Walmart can afford to pay someone because those savings will not get passed onto you.

Dude I knew from high school got sucker punched and knocked out by someone when he was arguing with another dude outside a bar. The original guy he was arguing with kicked him in the head and caved it in. The guy had to learn how to walk and talk again. He's mostly fine now from what I gather but I imagine he'll never be 100%.

All over some dumb argument outside a bar. Petty street fighting and arguing are stupid. Save it for something worth dying for not some drunk dickhead.
