I passed his kinda remote home many times here in town, and my daughter-in-law used to do their outfits (laundry) in same area, she remembers a guy with a beard waiting in the car while a girl brought the clothes in, dunno which guy it was.
Funny how Dusty wanted to stay in his home here in Seabrook south of Houston, a very nondescript town in a nondescript little redneck type area, lots of poor folks around living in trailers and a few crackheads.

I remember when I was 13ish my mother asked how many millionaires I thought lived in (my small) town. I said the people in that huge house at the end of x street probably. She just smiled. Never answered but I got the point.
That's another thing we've largely lost. That kind of modesty and understanding that not only is money not everything, but it's almost entirely meaningless next to family and community.
