But if you want to do it remotely, you'd need an antenna of sorts embedded near the region you're targeting to make the most of the power that can be transferred wirelessly

True. However, for the desired effect, you would need to ensure that the particles are in the correct part of the brain. And that's not something that can be configured remotely.
