Not once have I seen one of these "good cops" stop a bad one. Even in small towns it's the norm for them to sit at the edge of town where it goes from 35 to 25 and fuck people over.
That's not really being a bad cop though is it? It's just looking for or even creating infractions to fine which is well within the job description and is the most efficient way to work.
Yes it is. It's not helping the town or neighborhood at all. It's literally whoring themselves for money. I'm not talking about people coming in at 70mph; their bread and butter is people that are barely over. You can get ANYONE doing something illegal.
It makes things look good from a top-down perspective to have mountains of fines issued, and it's a government job so there's no real need to get the actual work done.
Who's the top in a 1000 person town though? They are just fucking over their neighbors.
