Well, if you are stupid and only rely on wind, yeah, you'd have a point. But smart people don't just rely on one source of energy. You could say the same thing about any singular source of energy. I mean, gasoline is great until someone hacks your pipeline. Hydro is great until you have a drout. Coal is great until the miners go on strike. Everything is intermittent... Unless you have multiple sources of energy. But no, Wind is bad because <insert knee jerk reaction here>.
