They serve different functions. Seafoam is more along the lines of Techron and other fuel system cleaners. MMO is an upper cylinder lubricant with cleaning properties. Run MMO in the fuel and use Seafoam or Techron periodically.

MMO now has an Ultimate that I just put though a family member's fuel system and it made a noticeable improvement.

MMO is a lubricant and a preventative, not a cleaner. It will minimize carbon buildup and remove some deposits. Seafoam/Techron first, then MMO for maintenance.
