without such enforcement women always form a special relationship with the aristocracy and help them hold down the common man. back in the day women would only complain about the men who held the cushy office jobs, and of course ignored the vast majority who worked in labor. nowadays women have achieved their share of the cushy office jobs (or really the men at the top gave it to them and invented a bunch of new useless titles), and have formed a monopoly on all the easy ones, whilst the men at the top remain further entrenched in place.
