In my opinion, the locality shouldn't be liable if they trespass someone on the orders of a Postal Service adviser. It should be handled as if it was any other business that was having you ordered off the property. The Postal Service and/or the employee who signed the trespass complaint should be liable. On the other hand the police shouldn't be trying to get someone out of a property without a formal trespass.
