Who's taking his children to such a kid unfriendly place?

It was the "evil" wrestler that spit on the kid. The "good" wrester gave the same kid a high-five. It's an act and they were in character.
Yeah, I don't think spitting on somebody is just an act. It's an assault. It's only natural the dad got furious. On the other hand, the dad and the kiddo might've been in on the act. Wrestling is one big performance, after all.
Only mentally, as I learned as a teen when an old woman wouldn't stfu screaming the entire night.
The wrestler is a heel and method actor. He never breaks character in public.
