after the first two weeks and we realized that covid is not an issue they should have been lifted anyway....not that I ever wore one.

Texas resident here. Texas is only prohibiting government entities from enforcing mask mandates. That includes cities, counties, school districts, government officials, public health authorities. Public schools will only be allowed to enforce masks mandates up until June 4 2021. Business can still enforce mask mandates as they are private entities.

Oh, that's significantly less cool than "styx" seemed to think.

Yeah but it’s still a slap in the face to our commie county judges.

You're a Texan huh? Are your judges particularly bad, or just the city ones?

Yeah, about a year too fucking late.

When my daughter was born, they told me I needed to have a fucking mask on during delivery. DURING DELIVERY. (I didn’t wear one obviously... but still.)

Do you know what the difference is between listenting to Styx and not listening to Styx.

None. Absolutely none.

I like him, listen once in a while but I don't need him to tell me what I already know.

Would you like me to tell You what you already know honey buns?

Require any business with a mask policy to also pay employees hazard pay since the disease is so dangerous. Oh it’s not THAT dangerous? Ok, no mask mandates then.

Are they allowing businesses to require them if they choose?

I think some companies will utilise the If/Then vax option, except it is a violation of Hippa to ask for personal medical info.

RIGHT! Until pedo joe takes care of that

You can always trust texas to do the right thing, and get a lot of press about having done so... after Florida, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and Idaho have done so without nearly as much press.
