So you homeschool them? Or your wife? Who works, or are you independently wealthy?
...so anyway..if you have children, then they are your responsibility. Raising them so they are productive members of society is your job. Regardless of your career or life path. Paying attention to what the school is teaching them falls squarely inside your responsibilities. If you use the schools system as a babysitter and they turn out fucked up....its your fucking fault. You made them, you are responsible. A human that isn't a sociopath and doesn't treat their child like a pet will be interested in what the curriculum is so as to ascertain what the child is learning and gauge weather its within the realm of decency and correct for its age. When and if you realize that its wrong or evil, you pull them and teach them yourself.
Asking ambiguous questions so you can get an "AH HA!" moment is childish and makes you look fucking stupid.
Raising them so they are productive members of society is your job
But not sheep. It's not a job, but if you raise people who just support the status quo and don't improve society, you were a waste.
