Wasn't it this one that was going to be fixed by lowering the road surface? Or was it decided that cost too much and a barrier was put up instead?
What I read, is that they can't lower the road because of what is underneath it. They can't raise the railway line because the rails have to stay at the same level (no abrupt hills and valleys), and it would cost a fortune. I think it must be money considerations that prevent it from getting fixed.
Ok. I could have sworn I read something about one of the headchoppers getting fixed but still taking the top off really tall things. Obviously it wasn't this one.
This is after they increased the clearance to 12'4", people are crashing into it with bigger trucks.
