I'm not sold on flat Earth, for the simple reason that they could fake space for any number of propaganda tactics. It fed into the whole "US vs the Soviets" angle and sold us as "winning" the "Space Race", it proclaims the mastery of science over nature (thereby lifting up the false god of technology), and it sells the idea of "we're all connected" (see Carl Sagan's Pale Blue Dot, etc.). It's also a huge source of money that can be used for various black ops.
The Earth could be flat, I don't know enough to definitively know. But I do know that space is fake and gay.
