That’s the first few seconds, how can the guy turn the car off but keep his hands out the window. He already had his hands out when they yelled to turn off the car. They continue to give things like “keep your hands up, open the door” what’s he supposed to do? Open it with his mind?
If I’ve got a couple crazy fucks with guns yelling shit at me I’m not moving my hands either. By the time they settle on “get out of the car” they’ve proven they are crazy. I sure as fuck wouldn’t reach for a seat belt latch.
The police put out videos all time that say “if you’re not comfortable stopping you can drive a short distance and pull over in a well lit or better spot”. That’s all this guy did to provoke a Felony Traffic stop. Also, the second dick has already been fired, so even the department couldn’t defend his actions.

He doesn't have a problem doing any of these things, and the police don't have any problem with how he handled this.

They say keep your hands out of the window, not keep your hands up. How do you open the door while keeping your hands outside? With the fucking handle on the outside. This guy goes on to show his refusal had nothing to do with confusion. He was flat out refusing to exit the vehicle.

That's your choice, but don't cry about the consequences of failing to comply with a lawful order.

Police do that all the time when they're afraid of the PC mob, or if the mayor, city council, and/or police chief are communist trash. They fired Derek Chauvin too. Are you saying that means he's guilty?
I agree he could have opened the door with them outside handle. However, most people aren’t thinking with cops yelling and pointing guns. They fall back on habit. The handle on the inside is probably the only one he was thinking of and he was trying to avoid getting shot.
They were over reacting and being overly aggressive. Just because a cop is screaming it at you doesn’t mean it’s a lawful order. What happened to their de-escalation training? The dude was speaking calmly while they were at his door. They could have calmed down.
Cops rarely get fired, they “resign” so the problem goes away. Then they go get a job at another department and continue to abuse citizens. They only get fired when the department can’t defend them. Which means they did something they shouldn’t have. Chauvin isn’t guilty of murder, but he also didn’t try, even for the camera, to check fentanyl Floyd. So the department couldn’t defend his actions.
The cops are dicks in this case.
