I've had a similar encounter where I was being pulled over in an intersection. Drove down the road to a parking lot for everyones safety and not impede traffic. I had to remind the officer it is my RIGHT to slowly drive down the road until I felt it was a safe place to stop. I am white and have had guns drawn on me for this, and also for being stopped for a burnt out headlight.
"Your just a cop, I won't fight you. Arrest me and see me in court buddy. Let's see what the judge says about routine traffic stop protocols and drawing a sidearm on a non aggressive civilian"
Understanding police are retarded and don't understand law goes a long ways. Don't fight them, let them fuck up on camera and do what needs to be done.
