In my life, I've definitely seen children are able to change for the better and worse. I have never seen adults make a large change even when isolated from their bad influences and given good influences. Some have been able to get over a bad habit like drinking or violence, but I've never seen someone who I'd consider a bad person turn around to become a good one regardless of how hard they hit rock bottom.
That being said, robbery and murder at the age of 12/14 is pretty unforgivable. No sense wasting time and resources educating what is almost certainly a lost cause. Just execute these two and be done with it.
In a just world the victim's family would get to choose the punishment. I used to think Sharia law was backwards and cruel, but now I see it's the only way to deal with shitskins.
Even sub 80 IQs would be able to figure out they should stop stealing when they lose a hand.
