You've clearly never been in a US hospital with a newborn boy. The doctors are extremely pushy and will flat out lie to try and pressure parents into cutting their baby's penis. Most people trust their doctors not to take advantage of them, and I can't blame parents too much for it.
Also, there's no medical condition where circumcision is medically necessary. Most issues can be addressed with basic hygiene, maybe with a cream. It's entirely a cosmetic operation, as any dick doctor will admit if they put it in writing.
A friend of mine had way too tight foreskin so it hurt his dick. Only solution was to cut the foreskin off.
That's the quick way to do it. They can also stretch out foreskin and use steroid cream.

Go to aliexpress and search "phimosis", there's little rubber devices to stick under the foreskin to stretch it. They cost 5 bucks and resolve the problem in two weeks time.
I had a friend who confided to me he had this problem. I had no idea what to tell him and just shrugged.
