Solitude is vastly underrated

The problem with "friends", is that they tend to project/attach on yourself, an image of yourself that conveniently fits their needs and expectations.

And inevitably, at some point it's time to say goodbye, because I'm not here to live according to one's expectations, nobody is.

I look at it more like brotherhood. Your friends, at least the ones that matter (i.e. not 'associates'), become an extension of family.
