In another thread I posted that on sites like this we are so over focused on documenting the problems that we forget to have fun. Everything you are doing is absolutely 100% what I want to see more of.
Holy cow. That is very inspiring. I have a few things to take care of, but my goal is start raising hell and sing and dance with my people!
I have to comment on the COBOL thing just for a bit: My favourite programming languages are Lisp and APL. Absolutely beautiful syntax to express logic and math in. I took an intro to COBOL course the other year to see why c coders always rag on that language. My verdict? As an intro, I really liked it! I don't know what it would be like to code anything substantial in COBOL, but, our coding environment haven't gotten any better in all of these years. None is making anything BETTER, they only seem to make MORE of it.

I have little interest in commenting on any of the issues most of the site is involved with and keep mainly just to my music based stuff. Thanks for the conversation and interest.
