I get it how much inspiration and skill goes into it. It's a huge insult to the artist so it infuriated me to see this. About 15 years ago I was baby sitting my cousin's two kids, (an 11 year old boy and 5 year old girl). To entertain them I was teaching how to make small roses from playdoe onto toothpicks. The five year old was very attentive and stayed with it while the 11 year old quickly got bored and wandered off to watch TV. Then he comes back and demands I "make one for me". "No, that's not how it works" I replied. "I'm showing how to make them and you haven't even tried". My cousin returned and I left. The little girl took the completed flowers and arranged them on a bit of cardboard to take to her room. The next time I visited the girl was all upset and showed me what was left of the flowers. Her brother had deliberately crushed them. When I asked him why he said he did it because I wouldn't make any for him while he was watching television. Some people are just destructive pigs.
