Foreshadowing: I bought a really cool Led Zeppelin shirt down the NJ shore for too much money at the time. The front was great; the back said, "We are your overlords."
So, I'm in 90s high school fighting way too much against a huge, white, semi-drug and graffiti gang, even though the school was 40%+ black.
It is escalating with some kids using weapons and kids are sometimes going to the hospital due to damage. In fear, I ask my father for advice or assistance. He says, "Maybe you shouldn't wear a shirt that says, 'We are you overlords' on the back." Thanks, dad!
