Hollywood was right when it said, in Gangs of New York, that the Catholics would destroy America as they were all slaves to the Pope.
Catholicism is run by a man who is appointed by God. The only way to check that power is to have your country ruled by a monarch who rules by Divine Right. The Euro nations are, or at least were, run by royalty who rule by Divine Right. The USA is ruled by a man who is appointed by men, there is nothing divine about our government, therefore it cannot challenge the Papacy on equal authority, and so it comes second in priority to all practicing Catholics.
Yet the one who is currently in power is directly advocating for things that will destroy the church, such as pandering to mudscums and filth, and openly proclaiming how great degeneracy is.
This poses a great problem for the USA because Pope Francis is infallible in matters of religion. Even if we had politicians who would go against the Pope, they'd lose the argument against ole "Frankie" because if Catholics will accept his authority being challenged by anyone, it would have to be by someone who was also appointed by God.
