I listen to the police scanner sometimes and something similar to this happened. Dispatch kept trying to get the caller to stop chasing them and let the cops take over but they wouldn't until the suspect stopped. As soon as they got to the city limits the fuckin cops just stopped, They would have gotten away if they listened to the cops. Sheriff eventually got them.
I got shot at once in a road rage incident, I went to the PD and talked to the sheriff. He just told me to drive better we knew who it was too.
