To determine whether the spaceX rockets are viable, simply look up the delta-V the rockets have for certain payloads and compare it with the delta-V needed to get to low and high orbits, the moon and Mars, and compare the delta V per $ or KG payload per $. I'm too lazy to do it, but that and the successful launch rate of the rockets should give you an idea of the viability of spaceX rockets.
If you want to be thorough, look up the payload sizes of common payloads that are likely to generate a lot of revenue, such as GPS satellites, military hardware, commercial projects, etcetera, and check if the rockets are able carry those payloads to their usual orbit attitudes.

Holy shit what a larping fudgepacker. And even if you’re an aerospace engineer, nobody here gives a fuck. Well nobody except the other larping aerospace fudge packing engineers on poal.
