My high school physics book had a picture of people smiling outside with their hair standing up, right before lightning struck. Smart girl to run.

That’s why bald people never get struck by lighting. No hair to attract it

its the way lightening works, it finds a ground if going strike the ground.... your hair raising is from static electricity when it finds a ground

Good reason to shave your pubes. Don't need that enormous lightning rod to get hit.

Also the two kids in boy scouts amazed at their hair sticking out like a tesla coil trick, then boom! Lightning.

And also the more famous : Michael McQuilken, and his brother, Sean, 12, climbed California's Moro Rock in 1975:

Caucasian hair standing on end and tingling skin may be signs that a lightning strike may be imminent.

But is it worth it to stand in the rain, only to later found out, that the lightning ⚡ didn't strike at all?

this is a severe thunderstorm, a light shower wont harm you
