I understand & agree with your sentiment but sadly there are limits to what they're able to do on these projects.
Even the Japanese sword smith's use power hammers in their ancient temples because of the time and manpower savings.

Yup, understood. I just wish I was a billionaire so I could fund these folks to torment them force them to use the old methods.
