Its fresh. That happens when you disassemble animals immediately after killing them. Where i cut around the scapulas of bears for some reason it happens a lot. Its usually really hot out when i kill a bear so as soon as its down im breaking it apart so meat doesnt go bad in the heat. Lotsa twitching like that. It is a little creepy but you get used to it.

I was never much of a hunter I grew up on the water. I used to love catching crab. They looked like food in a bucket. 40-50 of em. Sneak some extra crab boil in when my mom wasn’t looking
