There was a legitimate need to clean up advertising but folks wound up realizing Wilson Bryan Key was just an obsessed nut. Satire has its place and that's with those intelligent enough to recognize it for what it is. If you don't see the humor in something particular that's fine. It's probably not meant for you, but that's ok. There is "nothing to embrace" here and you don't have to.
