It found him out. Ted Kaczynski's brother sold him out for cash. The story goes when the FBI brought in David Kaczynski and his wife the first thing out of his mouth was "let's talk about the money". The FBI paid that bastard millions and not just the $1 million reward money. Rense talked about it years ago and what supposedly happened was David's lawyer contacted the FBI (they hired a criminal defense lawyer...why?) and negotiations happened back and forth for the money. The sit down meeting was to hand over the info on Ted and hammer out the tax implications.
Thanks. I can see turning in a family member for the good of society, but selling is creepy. What exactly was Ted's motivation? Was it simply to get published?
