Oh ok, well i suppose I didn't catch on quick. It was impossible almost for me to find any info. Now that I have I am doing what I can to make plans and get my affairs in order.
Well to be fair I really didn't quite exactly know what I was doing. It was more of an intuitive thing. A perfect storm came together in my life and it seemed like the best move to make. Back then I didn't know the NW was an area where like minded folk gather. I just knew I wanted to live no where near big cities like Baltimore when TSHTF.
Besides the real threats, we are also overdue for a major cataclysm like a pole-shift. The Rocky Mountains seemed to be the best place strategically overall from all perspectives. The only downside so far has been the damn wildfires. Didn't have those when I lived on the East Coast. Well Florida had some, but no where near as bad as out here. Even if your property is protected you still have to breathe air, and it can get quite smokey depending on where the fires are & wind direction. Setting wildfires is also a major attack vector that needs to be mitigated out here.
Hmm well you must have good instincts then. I almost moved to the northwest due to some of their cities being pretty good for jobs at the time, etc but for whatever reason I changed my mind. I just know at this point that the southwest, and the deep south are not good places to be right now due to them being so diverse. I just know now that the northwest is the Whitest part of the country and for better and for worse I have to get out there.
