Obligatory "orange man bad" clip, but not a bad review.

One thing he misses is the content of the Max Headroom show being about total media monopoly and its control of the populace. One episode I remember was about a member of the "resistance" movement against the oligarchs being arrested for having an "Off" button on his TV set because citizens were required to watch 24/7.

The show was way ahead of its time.

because citizens were required to watch 24/7.

Straight out of 1984.

“Max Headroom” itself refers to the idea that you don’t want the input of a microphone increased too far (in this case, to have it very low) to avoid any chance of clipping, or having a signal overload, which results in a distorted and damaged recording.

Too bad the guy that made it is a "muh ebil master race" fag.

I thought it was pretty interesting over all. Max is an interesting character.

I remember a show where he would work with a detective and make him to 90 degree turns while driving... was that the show they were referring to?

I never saw that I don't think. Sounds like maybe that origin story show he talked about.

Interesting. I only saw the film when I was a kid, I had no idea there was that much to it, particularly the fact that (I assume) a jew cast him as hyper aryan because "That's the way the world seemed to be going." Like... lmao. The 1980s were the resurgance of weimar and the jews were still kvetching about how oppressed they were.

I liked the show, it was hilarious. I often think of Xiden as Max Headroom.

Now I know while I've stopped to see the British series in the middle, even while liking the character: Max was never meant to be the good guy.

irritating are-ee-un caricature

The more I watch this video, the more I wonder if it itself is performance art.

And he's obsessed with Max as villain to the point he's confused when he isn't one. Strange. Did he bother to watch the shows themselves?

here is a gem, Jerry Hall, as guest on first episode. Excellent example of a ditzy floozie buzzing on blow, 80s style. While MH drops subtle hints, the audience mostly clueless off course. On a par with Mary Scorsese's performance while high as a kite in Taxi Driver, as the jealous husband stalking his wife.

The most retarded thing is how this youtuber speaks highly of the talk show hosts as long as they aren't reasonable to conservatives, not realizing he got Max Headroom'd himself while trying to pretend he is high and mighty when describing Max's effect on other people.

He fell for it, just a different flavor. TDS in full swing.
