The true narcissist is some who lacks empathy and acts immoral knowing they are doing so but with a sense of entitlement that the rules don't apply to them.
The true psychopath is worse, altogether.
However, intelligence plays an important role.
Stupid psychopaths end up dead or in prison young. They are also easy for the average person to spot and avoid.
Stupid narcissists are pretty effective against the average person. But, their tools are limited, so they usually don't get very far.
The very smart ones of either are a plague on our political system.
