Pretty sure it's not a contractor, it's just one of Andrew's buddies. It's a very old house, notice the stud spacing is way less than code now. At the beginning he also said it had 5 layers of shingles on it, with that structure, it's surprising it wasn't sagging more or completely collapsed on it's own. Getting stuck, you would have to work on spring time clay to realize how great it can look, and how quickly it turns bad.
