To be fair, it was his first time fighting in that environment. I know the first time I fought, I was nervous as fuck for the first round. And it really affected my performance, had me all tentative and hesitant. Got hit a bunch of times, and it's almost like that woke me up.
This can't be understated enough- typically it's the calm, cool, relaxed fighters that win. The guys who are really tense are usually thinking way too much in the moment. While you're busy thinking, the other guy is punching you in the fucking face. This is what training is for- it helps you to not think so much, not be so critical of yourself mid-fight. You could see the White guy criticizing himself internally, shaking his head and frowning after being hit, stepping away with his hands down; he almost defeated himself with his own attitude.
The black guy seemed to actually tire himself out by moving around so much. Movement is great, if you have the conditioning to keep it up... and if you're using it effectively. Nigger was moving just to move, it looks like. He wasn't moving to create angles, or feinting. So by the time they cleaned up the bloody nose, nigger was huffing and puffing, mouth hanging open- and if you know anything about fighting, keeping your mouth closed is extremely important because it's way easier to get KO'ed if your jaw is not tightened up. It doesn't look like these guys use mouthpieces, which is retarded- they're wearing gloves but not mouthpieces?
Agreed on the mouth piece. If they were going to only use one piece of protection I would have gone for the mouthpiece over the gloves. Even with a mouthpiece Ive taken some hits that made my TMJ joints ache for days. A broken hand is no joke, but a broken jaw is orders of magnitude worse. Boxing is all experience. The first few times are a good lesson. He never really loosened up, and even the KO punch seemed kind of hesitant, dude must hit like a hammer. Once he gets some experience he will get better, but from experience big guys are not good at prolonged fights, if it goes more than a round or two it usually turns into a shitshow with two gassed fighters hanging on each other throwing half assed punches.
