I think there is a fair argument to be made that if Trump were to go to a different platform, and there was more competition between social media companies as a result, then it would weaken the legal arguments that could be made against facebook/google/twitter that they should be prohibited from censoring people. Their market power is one of the reasons why they are essentially a public space, and why the courts should prevent them from censoring people.
Nobody seems to be willing to make these arguments against them in court though.
