the british military used Gurkha's during ww2 to demoralize german and italian soldiers. the Ghurka's would be used on night patrols and they would slip in behind german lines and slit the throats of soldiers silently. not every soldier but where they're 2 soldiers only one . the soldier they didn't kill would report what happened to the soldier who was with them at the time. very demoralizing to the other soldiers that that had happened and nobody heard anything. very effective use of their talents i would say, true story in the Gurkha's history.
Gurkhas got btfo when British military tried using them in Northern Ireland against the IRA.
the roe was different. they weren't allowed to shoot back in northern ireland. however every where else they served they served with distinction. and still are the best at killing silently.
They're like the green berets of the airborne rangers of the navy seals of delta force.
